Data controller

The controller of your data is María Picazo Romero, owner of this website, whose purpose is to serve as a professional portfolio. You can get in touch at mariapicazo.produ@gmail.com.

What data do I process, and why?

This website is a portfolio and does not collect personal data through forms. I only process two things: the data you give me voluntarily when you get in touch (by email, phone or social media, for example), for the sole purpose of answering your enquiry; and the browsing statistics described in the next section.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to see, in aggregate, how many visits it gets and which projects are viewed most. To do so it stores cookies on your device and processes data such as your IP address, your device and browser, and the pages you visit. This is not used to identify you personally, nor for advertising.

You can turn analytics off at any time through your browser's cookie settings or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area, relying on the safeguards provided for under European law. There is more detail in the Cookie Policy.

Legal basis

For answering your enquiries, the legal basis is your consent when you get in touch, and the legitimate interest in replying to you. For analytics, the legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you like by the means described above.

Retention

Your data is kept for as long as it takes to deal with your request and, where applicable, to meet any legal obligations. Statistical data is kept for the period configured in Google Analytics.

Recipients

I do not share data with third parties except where legally required. Hosting is provided by Hostinger, with servers in the European Union. Analytics is provided by Google. Videos embedded in project pages are played through YouTube (Google) and Vimeo (see the Cookie Policy).

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to mariapicazo.produ@gmail.com. If you feel they have not been properly addressed, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Security

I apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
